Recognize That Song? ’151a’ In Commercials
2012 was a great year for Kishi Bashi. After the success of his debut album 151a, Microsoft licensed his single “Bright Whites” for placement in a commercial for their new and improved Windows 8 software.
Around the same time, Sony used Kishi Bashi’s song “It All Began With A Burst” from the same album for a commercial introducing their Xperia Tablet S.
In addition to these placements, Smart automobiles licensed “Chester’s Burst Over The Hamptons” for their line of smart cars in the United States.
Most recently, Kishi Bashi himself appears in a Grammy promo commercial for 4 cuts totaling over 1 second. Can you spot him?
