I’m really excited to finally share this with you — Sonderlust (10th Anniversary Edition) is officially coming out on February 27, 2026 via Joyful Noise Recordings.

To celebrate the anniversary, I’m releasing a previously unreleased B-side from the Sonderlust sessions today called “Harpsi Chords.” You can listen here: https://kishibashi.lnk.to/harpsichords - I was always excited about this song and even went as far as recording the string parts for it, but at the time it didn’t quite match the overall tone of the album, so I made the tough call to leave it off. Listening back now, it feels like a nice snapshot of where my head and heart were during that period.

The anniversary edition also features brand new artwork by Ssin Kim, who created the original Sonderlust cover. The first piece she made back then felt darker and more pessimistic — very much where I was in my life at the time. This new artwork was created post-COVID and feels much more optimistic. It’s been interesting to see how both of us have changed over the years, and I think the new art really captures a sense of perspective and hope.

And of course, I couldn’t let this anniversary pass without hitting the road.

I’m thrilled to embark on my 2026 Sonderlust 10-Year Anniversary Tour, where we’ll be performing the album in full this spring. The tour kicks off with festival performances at Treefort Music Fest (3/26/26) and Big Ears Festival (3/29/26) before heading across the country. Expect nostalgia, new energy, and a few surprises along the way.

Tickets are on sale now, and I truly can’t wait to celebrate this record — and all of you who’ve been listening and supporting it over the years.
